Jones is live in tupelo to explain the school's new guidelines.

I'm at tupelo high school where the athletic director said the new precautions for indoor sports will help keep everyone safe.

Sot: "it's an opportunity for us to provide safety for our students, faculty, staff, community, and everybody who's involved and be inside."

Jason miller- tupelo high school athletic director athletic director jason miller, said he is limiting all indoor sports to 10% capacity.

Miller said this will help security officers ensure social distancing and enforce the mask mandate.

Sot: "it's the safest option at this point right now."

Basketball and other indoor sports already started in october.

Miller said this precaution will go into effect december 11th.

He said if a game is inside the school's gymnasium, then up to 200 guests are allowed.

Sot: "this is an opportunity for our players parents, families to be able to watch these guys perform.

Uh you know, and to do it in the safest environment possible."

Miller also said the amount of guests each player can invite depends on the sport.

If its basketball, then each player will get two tickets.

As for concession stands, miller said they will remain open.

People must social distance while standing in lines.
