Students will return to the classroom today at univeristy of kentucky... students will be learning both in- person..

And online.

Several measures are in place..

To keep students and staff safe.

The university is testing all students and staff who will be on campus..

Since testing began earlier this month-- more than 15- thousand have been tested..

Only 147 have had positive results..

Making the positivity rate only 1 percent.

Other measures are also in place..

Including..

Requiring masks...enforcing social distancing..

Providing wellness kits..and daily screenings.

One freshman says she appreciates what the school staff is doing to make students feel welcome and safe.

Keeley:i feel like the universitys doing whatever they can to make sure we feel safe.

They give us wellness kits, constantly checking our temperature, im pretty sure theres a lot of resources that you can go to if youre feeling sick, theres a whole quarantine dorm, like theres so many options for us to do that makes me feel safe.

### meanwhile--- bluegrass community tecnical college will also start today... the majority of its classes will begin online....just for the first week.

The school says that's to give professors the chance to explain how class will work.
