Two bodies found in Tupelo home, investigators working to identify cause of death

Police officers found the bodies of a man and woman Sunday evening in Tupelo.

Following breaking news from lee county tupelo police found two people dead while doing a welfare check at a home police went to a home on hibner street for a welfare check around six sunday night.

When the officers entered the home, they found a woman and a man dead.

Police said there were no obvious signs of foul play.

Detectives are investigating the cause of their deaths along with the coroner and state medical examiner's office.
