Rising sea temperatures and ocean acidity are making it impossible for coral to thrive in our oceans.
Experts estimate that in as soon as 20 years, almost 90% of current coral habitats will not be survivable for these crucial parts of our ocean's ecosystem and that by 2021, all viability will be gone.This is not a reason to give up today or think that ocean and beach cleanup efforts do not help.
They do, but it will take a much larger scale of intervention to change the tide of our climate crisis.
