Amazon.com to Cut ‘Several Hundred’ Alexa Jobs

Amazon.com is eliminating “several hundred” positions related to its Alexa smart assistant, the company said in a memo to employees. The ecommerce company on Friday said it is shifting some of its efforts toward generative AI to better align with its business priorities.
