'Powerful moment in our history': Americans to gather for National Day of Prayer observances

Thousands of prayer gatherings will be held on the first Thursday of May as the National Day of Prayer will be in full force with groups congregating nationwide to participate in praying for the nation's needs and to listen to the National Day of Prayer broadcast.
