Federal agents sent to Seattle area for standby, as Mayor Durkan seeks assurances they won’t crack down on protesters

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan said the Department of Homeland Security assured her federal forces would not be sent to clamp down on demonstrators as they have in Portland.
