‘War’ paint on, cricket fans went all out to support India

Fans gathered outside the stadium for the World Cup final, with many getting their faces painted and looking for last-minute tickets. One fan mentioned that they had come from Chandigarh to support the Indian team and get pictures with their favorite player. A man named Sunil Patni made money by painting fans' faces for Rs 10 each. Another couple traveled from the Netherlands and spent Rs 60,000 on tickets for the semi-final and final matches. However, their hopes were dashed as India did not win. Black marketeers were also seen selling tickets at inflated prices outside the stadium.
