A gynaecologist from a scheduled tribe in Rajasthan is contesting in the upcoming state assembly election as a candidate for the Bharatiya Tribal Party. The doctor, Dr Deepak Ghogra, who is currently posted at a government hospital, has been permitted by the high court to rejoin his job if he loses the election. Dr Ghogra has been serving in the hospital for over 10 years and is well-known in the area. He is campaigning for better education, healthcare, and job opportunities for the tribal community.
