On eve of sedition hearing in Supreme Court, govt seeks 1 week for reply

A day before the Supreme Court is scheduled to hold the final hearing on a batch of petitions challenging the constitutional validity of Section 124A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) that deals with the offence of sedition, the Centre on Wednesday files an application seeking one more week to file its response.
