A late-night live stream celebrating Caribbean carnival culture ft. Popcaan, MIST and Lady ICE...

With no physical parade celebrations this year worldwide, the lack of thousands of revellers in carnival line processions skanking their way through Notting Hill and other fiestas this weekend globally leaves a huge gap for many.

*Wray & Nephew* are here to fill that void, their '*Yard to Yard*' show aims to bring together the community online.

Transporting the Caribbean spirit through the airwave, pumping that carnival vibe through wireless routers to the thirsty masses.

Including almost everything a carnival king or queen needs in their life this weekend to keep the good times flowing at home. From their yard to our yards, a truly noble undertaking.

Part of the one-off, high energy special is being hosted at *Camden Town Hall*. A site where many believe the carnival spirit was formed. It was here in 1959 that Caribbean political activist, *Claudia Jones*, started the movement with a dance at the venue in response to the race protests. Showcasing what the West Indian community had to offer the United Kingdom in the way of cultural wealth. These inspirational dances united the community and paved the way for what we now know as Carnival Weekend.

The stream will be interjected with a series of short films celebrating Carnival history over the decades. 'Yard to Yard' will feature a series of exclusive performances from renowned Jamaican dancehall artist *Popcaan* - filmed direct from Portmore, Jamaica.

Alongside sets from Birmingham rapper *MIST*, and newcomer *Lady ICE* both streamed from the heart of Camden Town Hall in true homage to the roots of the dance.

The '*Yard to Yard'* special show will be broadcast on *Friday, 28th August* kicking off from *18:00 BST* via No Signal's *YouTube channel.* Stay locked to Wray & Nephew on *Instagram* & *Twitter* for all the latest info.
