Hamas believed that Israel's plan to invade the city of Rafah will end in failure.
The comments on Israel's Rafah plan were made by senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan.
The Hamas official said the U.S. is aware that Israel won't be able to succeed in Rafah.
Hamdan also accused the U.S. of supporting Israel in "committing crimes and genocide".
