In New York City, the iconic Times Square New Year’s Eve numbers arrived on Wednesday, December 20 and a mini ceremony was held just for them and for anyone else who would rather attend a tiny day-time countdown than the packed-to-the-brim, outside-in-the-cold countdown on the actual new year’s eve.
