The narrator uses the word Liberalism, but you could just as easily replace it with the word Communism, or just 'losers' - people who have no morals and no integrity.
I'd argue that that makes even more sense because old-school Liberals are not the problem.
Most people are liberal about some things while being conservative about other things, and that doesn't mean that those people are Communists.
