Paris lights up the Arc de Triomphe in pink to mark the start of Pink October, or Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
"It's really a moment of communion between all these women who have experienced breast cancer," said casting director Tania de Oliveira, a three-time breast cancer survivor, at the Sunday event.
