South and west of the Pacific.
Southeastern Guatemala, Belize, Caribbean.
And east of the Gulf of Mexico.
With an area of 1,972,550 km2, Mexico is her 13th largest country in the world.
With a population of over 126 million, she is the 10th largest country and the country with the most Spanish speakers.
Mexico is organized as a federal republic made up of 31 states and their capital, Mexico City.
Other major urban areas are Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla, Tijuana, Ciudad Juarez and Leon.
