The shadow chief secretary to the treasury says joining the Indo-Pacific trade bloc is “potentially a positive step” from the government.

Yet Pat McFadden suggests the deal will only benefit the UK economy by “0.08% of GDP over 10 years” in comparison to the “4% hit” from leaving the EU.
