Govt reveal plans to pay farmers to help 'achieve net zero'

The environment secretary reveals farmers will be paid bonuses for implementing environmentally-friendly agricultural practices.

Therese Coffey says the subsidies, which have been brought forward a year as part of the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI), will help to "achieve net zero".
