STurkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says his country will not back Sweden's bid to join NATO.
The statement came after an anti-Islamic politician publicly burned a copy of the Koran outside Ankara's embassy in Stockholm during a protest sanctioned by local police.
The incident also attracted a severe backlash from the global Muslim community.
