Russia is reportedly recruiting former elite Afghan commandos who fought alongside the US and Western allies for almost two decades, to now fight Russia's war with Ukraine.
These US-trained Afghan soldiers had escaped to Iran last year when Afghanistan was taken over by Taliban.
