Labour hit out at Conservative ‘vagaries’ over energy policy

Shadow cabinet minister Peter Kyle has criticised the Conservative government of “giving vagaries” over plans to tackle the cost-of-living crisis, after Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng said that UK households will receive some help with energy bills this winter.

The shadow Northern Ireland secretary said: “The Labour Party has a plan that would mean that nobody would pay a penny extra on their energy bills over this coming winter.” Report by Jonesia.
