A 3-year-old black Labrador named Sammy went missing during a landslide in Seattle on Jan 7.
Sammy was presumed dead but was rescued and reunited with her family, the Fritts, almost a week later.
The Fritts’ neighbor heard Sammy in the remains of the house on January 13, and the Seattle Fire Department later saved the dog from the rubble.
Sadly, another dog of the Fritts’ died during the incident.
