Russia and Ukraine held the fifth round of peace talks in Turkey yesterday.
The peace talks seem to have ushered in a turning point in the situation in Russia and Ukraine.
Russia announced after the talks that it would reduce military operations in Chernihiv and Kyiv to create conditions for a ceasefire.
But the United States has expressed doubts about Russia's intentions, arguing that although Russian ground forces are currently moving away from the Kyiv area, Russian troops have not completely withdrawn and may be preparing for a major offensive elsewhere in Ukraine.
