We all imagine the times when life was very simple and easygoing, there were not many cars on the road, the air was very clean to breathe in, and of course, there was not much rush in the markets or in the school or college admission lines.
But over the years, things have changed a lot, and all thanks to the fact that the population is on a steep rise, many experts believe that at the rate by which India’s population is growing, we will surpass China very soon, and de-thrown them as the most populated country in the world, at least we will be beating the Chinese at something.
For half a century, China has been the most populated country in the world.
This will change, as India is expected to overtake China by 2022.
Additionally, the United States will lose its third-place spot to Nigeria.
Nigeria is currently the 7th most populated country in the world, but that will quickly change.
Nigeria has a growth rate of 2.6% a year – the highest among the 10 most populous countries in the world.
By 2050, its population will more than double from 195 million to an estimated 410 million.
