Vice chancellor of the reputed Allahabad University Sangita Shrivastava has landed in a controversy after she complained of noise from morning Azaan that disturbs her sleep.
She said Azaan is necessary but a microphone is not.
A Lucknow based Muslim cleric told her to 'respect religious sentiments'.
