Footage captured by a journalist following the police shows multiple officers examining the situation before one grabs the reptile and briefly tussles with it after it's initially revealed under the bonnet.
The fearless officer was said to have experience removing the animals, as they are usually found in the crevices of vehicles.
The snake was later given to an animal park to be looked after.
