Fresh off fyffe's third straight state title, the red devils have another reason to celebrate, tight end, brody dalton, signed with the uab blazers today, continueing his football career in state.

Fyffe coach paul benefield, along with dalton's teammates and family, watched along as the senior signed his national letter of intent.

Dalton's mom says he's always been humble.

But now the 6/4 225 pounder defintely has something to brag about, he's a d1 football player.

Dalton joins the blazers at an exciting time, the team is getting a brand new stadium.

Dalton is even more impressed with how head coach bill clark leads his team.

It's a lot like at fyffe, he wants you to work as hard as you can, it's more like a family, than a football team.

After winning three state championships at fyffe, dalton says the expectation in college is to win!

Uab went to the conference usa championship game in 2019, where they lost, but the blazers won back in 2018.
