Hospitalization rates have been a concern around the state and right here in our area.

Well yeah we're breaking down the hospitalization rate how many people are in the hospital throughout California and now we're going to do Shasta County as well first we'll take a look at how many people throughout the state or in the hospital and you can see right there at the number over 8,500 people are in the hospital throughout California as of 11 this morning and then you can see the number right there 2000 ICU beds are available now it's break this down here in California will keep its Statewide for a moment here as we look at how many people are in the ICU you're talking about this number right here almost two thousand people throughout the state are in the ICU so that gives you a good look at what the numbers look like throughout the state now we were talking about Shasta County we're going to take a look at Shasta County right now by the way this is the state's website so these numbers coming in from the state of California this is the dashboard right here you can see what it was last updated 11 this morning let's go ahead and type in Shasta right here and we'll pull up Shasta County and get that counties information right now to see the numbers that we've been talking about there's your positivity right that's one number I will point out here really quickly he is the positivity rate right there at 25% in Shasta County so that is an interesting number whenever we want to keep our eye on and then let's move down here and we'll show you the hospitalizations for Shasta County and you can see as of 11 this morning 56 people are in the hospital there are three ICU beds available in Shasta County that gives you an idea on how many people are in the hospital in Shasta County right now and the beds available again we haven't seen that Thanksgiving Day Spike so these numbers could go up and they could go up drastically we will continue to keep an eye on it now coming up I will show you the numbers in Butte County that'll be a little bit later
