The holiday light shows will go on in st.

It'll be the 40th anniversary of the city's winter wonderland holiday park.

Lightings will go on friday, but without all the pomp and celebration that usually comes with them.

Also, there will be no donation collection or cherry mash offerings at the end of the drives due to the pandemic.

"just not going to do the ceremonies this year.

We will--the mayor is still going to flip the switch.

It's disappointing.

I hate it.

We're not going to run anybody away from the lighting ceremony but we're going to try and make sure people stay distanced and are wearing masks."

The lights will be turned friday night -- 6 pm at krug park, 7 pm at hyde park.

Both parks will be lit nightly until january 3rd.
