Thanksgiving is a time for family... and it's easy to look past the virus..

And get together to celebrate.

But health officials say that could be a major issue.

Here's what you can do if you still want to see family amid the pandemic.

As always..

Wear a mask... whenever you're around others.

Take food to go..

So you don't have to take off the mask around other people.

You've heard it before..

Social distance..

6 feet apart at all times.

Wash your hands when you can..

And... you can't get covid by preparing the food..

But you can by sharing items. avoid sharing utensils to serve food..

Instead opt for plastic..

So you can throw it away after.

Health officials say... stick to these simple tips..

And you could help save a life.

"people are going to work going about and they're not wearing their masks and we're seeing a spread from that.

So just wear your mask, i know it's annoying but it's just a simple easy thing for you to do to protect your community.
