A north texas business owner has landed on oprah's annual list of favorite things.

Nicole jacobs caught up with the owners and takes us inside the cookie society in frisco, texas.

When oprah has her people call your people... you know it is serious business... cookie society is now banging out 1500 cookies a day...thanks to the oprah effect the moment you enter the doors of cookie society in frisco jeff allen- " three words indulgent, delicious, unbelievable."

The fresh aroma of sweetness hits your nose jeff allen- "unbelievable.

It's a concept first thought of by marissa allen.

Her husband and former nfl player, jeff...jumped on board "she would sen cookies to the locker room after win and all of my teammates and ask if they could buy them."

Marissa started selling them in 2018...she eventually grew to averaging about 70 to 150 packages a week going from the local farmers market... to this storefront... and with one call from oprah's magazine...her daily shipments have tripled "i'll never forget when the announcement was made and we were able to say something& immediately our email started going off because of people ordering."

They made oprah's favorite things... a variety of cookies...from chocolate chunk...to birthday cake... to bana pudding ..and peppermint hot chocolate all packaged in this little box "the fact that the are taking a product that was made here some thing that i created and sharing it with other people... is just indescribable.

Indescribable... but surely a team win for all ...as they celebrate this monumental moment in their company's history they haven't yet heard from oprah winfrey herself... but even if they don't...they have no plans of sl slowing down.
