The city of Russellville had to cancel their Veterans Day Parade because of coronavirus, but that did not derail other Veterans Day celebrations.

Coronavirus caused many veteran's day programs to be different.
In russellville -- the city had to cancel its veterans day parade because of the virus.
But -- that did not derail the town's celebration of its veterans.
Banners with service men and women were put up throughout the town.
Russellville mayor david grissom -- who just got over coronavirus himself -- said it's special to see people you know on the banners.
Each of the banners have the photographs of the service members.
These are people that are from russellville from franklin and from our county we know them and we see them those that are still here with us.
The banners will be up through the weekend.
Grissom said they have 3 slots left and if someone wants to put their veteran on the banner -- they should call the franklin county archives.
