Voter Assistance Centers will open up across Butte County on Saturday.

Workers here say they do think it will be busy because they are already seeing a record turnout this election.

Keaton denlay/manager for butte co elections: these centers are available to do anything the voter needs to do, vote in person, drop off your ballot, or register to vote, or update voter registration.

The bell memorial union at chico state is a super voter assistance center, basically we have deployed staff and resources for two centers at one location so this will be a hotspot.

Kristian: you can see that election workers are getting everything ready, testing equipment and setting everything up to make sure everything is working properly for tomorrow.

Keaton denlay/manager for butte co elections: first thing is you will be greeted at the door by a traffic director, if you come inside, you will be asked if you are registered or not, if you're not there will be some additional forms, there will be traffic director and people here to assist here.

Voters will be encouraged to wear masks and we will make sure everything is cleaned and sanitized.
