A new number one

Passes has blossomed into a leader.

Christian graney is this week's amateur athlete.

Graney's "stay quiet and work" mentallity is why he is the right man to lead a young sou receiver group, that aside from graney, has never caught a pass in a college game.

You know leadership comes in many shapes and forms. i think if you have a guy that leads by example, you really can't go wrong there."

So for me, i want to be that guy to go ahead and step-up and be there for them and let them know, "hey it is alright if you mess up.

It is all a learning experience and we are going to get better as a team, as a core, and we are going to be dangerous."

In 2020, while defenses had their eyes locked on sou legend jordan suell, graney racked up 646 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Aside from suell, that led all other sou receivers.
