Police investigate downtown Terre Haute shooting

Terre haute terre haute police are still looking for the suspect in a downtown shooting.

It happened this morning.

The call came from the "600"-block of cherry street..

Right near the campus "of indiana state university."

Police tell us..

They believe it was "a targeted attack".

She was on the scene right after the shooting happened.

Things are calm now... but right before 10 a-m... this area was swarming with police... when i got here..

You could still see blood on the sidewalk.

Let's take a look at that scene.

The street was blocked off.

I noticed police were speaking with a young girl who had blood on her shirt.

As of right now..

Terre haute police have not released a lot of information.

But what they have shared..

Is they're following up on leads.

They also say there is a male victim in this shooting, but the status of that individual remains unknown.
