Grateful Gobbler Thanksgiving Day Walk assists the Maclellan Shelter for Families

It is our pleasure to help out this wonderful organization that you guys are helping out, which is the mcclellan house give us of the 20 second oh what the mcclellan house is and what it does okay it's a shelter for families who are homeless and i keeps families together during this homeless transition in their move back to sustainability that feature to keep families together.

We got to raise private funds to keep the shelter and that was that amounts to about 200,000 dollar a year.

Keep that shelter open and managing these families the grateful gobbler has been the sole fundraising portion for that for a number of years and we are getting this year as we go virtual and we just welcomed the community to join us in keeping that shelter alive and well and will walk virtually and most of these years i have been down there with you all on thanksgiving morning and usuall a day or so before and i can't tell you the warm, incredibly generous feeling that just permeates the whole area down the and i wonder with this pandemic look out what or how was it going to affect the grateful golfer walk, so obviously it is you're going virtual.

So how is this going t be executed if you will.

Well w will families will gather together and then their own 5k route and they will continue th traditional thanksgiving morning getting together as a family an friends, and socially distance appropriately and walk this 5k.

It's the cause it's you know we love the synergy of the people and what happens, but it's about what we do with the money we raised to help the shelter and people won't forget that.
