Santa's Elves decided to have almost of the proceeds from their annual golf tournament benefit those impacted by the devastating Almeda Fire.

Asymptomatic, isolated and being mony to provide kids with christmas presents.

This year, they felt a slightly different calling.

This year santa's elves-- a local non profit-- held their annual golf tournament but with a slight twist.

Normally the money raised goes to providing christmas gifts to children who otherwise wouldn't get any.

This year though, almost all of the proceeds will benefit victims of the almeda fire.

Randy rudy says, "this year, our heart just called us to change it up a little bit.

We're still going to help out some kids, but the majority of the money, almost all of it, is going to go to helping some people of the almeda fire."

Santa's elves is 100 percent volunteer run and all of the proceeds from their events go directly to individuals directly affected by the fire.

One reason randy rudy was so moved to help the victims of the almeda fire was when he drove through phoenix, not far from centennial golf course, for the first time after the fire.

Randy rudy says, "and then i drove through there.

It's just horrible.

To live around it is one thing but to be directly involved in it-- we just felt like we gotta do our part."

They quickly filled their maximum 32 teams, but the donations didn't stop there.

Rudy said people who weren't able to play still sent in team fees so they could help the
