Hey dakota... that's right... purdue head football coach jeff brohm is the first head coach in the big ten to be presumed positive for covid-19 that result coming via a rapid antigen test... now why say presumed positive?

That's because a rapid antigen test is a little less accurate than a pcr test.... both are still close to 100% accuracy... a pcr test has to be done in a lab and can take up to a few days.... the antigen test that brohm took today has a mostly accurate result that comes faster....... so the football program being run by the assistant coaching staff at the moment,,, no word on the specific protocol on how many negative results he'll need to retun to the sidelines.... purdue is playing it safe and confirming the results with a pcr test.... brohm is most likely positive... we're told he's in isolation at his home in west lafayette.... i'll have a little more information in the sports block.... hoping for the best for the brohm family.... back to you... in continuing coverage, indiana is seeing
