Election day is no exception.

Kimt news 3's alex jirgens is finding out about a special service mason city is providing for riders on november 3rd.

"* the mason city transit buses here at the central park terminal just left for one of their last loops around town for the day.

And the city wants to make it easier for people to vote on november 3rd.

The city is providing rides to polling sites on election day from 6:30 in the morning to 6 in the evening.

All passengers have to do is wait at a street corner along the 5 designated routes in town ?

"* and flag don the bus driver.

Transit operations manager dylan schulte says providing this service takes the guess "transportatio n is expensive thing, whether it be their own vehicle or the cost of gasoline.

If we can contribute in any way and provide free rides for any demographic, that's why we're here."

Countless cities across the country are offering free rides to polling sites including los angeles ?
