A woman is dead and a man is in critical condition after the two reportedly led police on a chase in a stolen car and crashing into a utility pole and a building early Tuesday morning.

We now have the name of a woman who died after her car hit a building and caught on fire this morning.

The allen county coroner's office says 24-year-old "gabrielle menier" died from blunt force injuries.

Fort wayne police say around 1-45 a-m they stopped a car driven by "menier" and as officers got out their vehicle "menier" sped off.police then began chasing the car...officers say menier lost control at the intersection of south anthony boulevard and wayne street, where she hit a utility pole then crashed into a building on east berry street.
