Apple pie waffles are deliciously dippable confections.Apple pie is one of my favorite desserts...honestly, you can't go wrong with any apple dessert, period.

The combination of apple and cinnamon just goes delightfully in any pastry.This recipe for Apple Pie Waffles combines several dessert faves.

All you need to whip these up is a pack of apple turnovers with filling, and some dulce de leche or caramel for dipping.

You could also use the icing that comes with the turnovers, but we find the dulce de leche is absolutely delightful!

Give these a go tonight and they'll be gobbled up in no time!Ingredients: 1 package Pillsbury apple turnovers Dulce de leche for dippingDirections:Unroll apple turnover dough, top each piece with filling, and then cover with the top dough piece, carefully pushing down the edges to help it seal.Place the filled turnovers on your preheated waffle iron, close the lid, then let cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the dough is cooked through, depending on the waffle iron.

Feel free to take a peek to make sure it doesn't burn but becomes a deep golden brown color.

Drizzle or dip in dulce de leche when they are still warm.
