The fires that hit the province of Córdoba, in central Argentina, left shocking images over the last few hours, such as a video recording from one of the mobiles of the 'Villa Giardino' firefighters on Tuesday (September 22).
The video allows us to see how three firefighters traveling in a vehicle try to take a path with the truck and escape the flames that surround them with increasing speed.
"Here, on the side ... c´mon, c´mon, c´mon!" shouts one of the firefighters to the bus driver to try to get out of the flames.
After turning right, the truck resumes the road, a fire-free zone is found and a cry of relief is heard at the end from one of those who were traveling inside the truck.
Fortunately, the firefighters were not injured and the vehicle was not damaged.
For several days, fires have once again wreaked havoc in different parts of the Córdoba mountains.
As of Tuesday night, four large outbreaks had been registered.
In addition to the fires in Giardino, outbreaks also appeared in Villa Carlos Paz and San Antonio de Arredondo.
Until now, the exact size of hectares and houses destroyed by fires in these days has not been calculated.
Hundreds of people were evacuated and the weather conditions predict that the problems of the flames will persist in the next few hours.
Rain is expected in the area over the course of the weekend and can help contain the fires.
