Bad ne firs- the soutrn tierthletic conference has decidetopostponec announced yesterday that it will put off fall sports for now and instead follow the condensed season format previously discussed by the state high school athletic association.
That will have the winter sports season begin january fourth - followed by the fall and spring seasons each totaling 10 weeks in length.
In our area - oneonta high school individually decided to postpone its fall sports season until the spring semester back on september fourth - regardless of what the other schools in its league decided to do.
So here's the good news.
Now it appears they'll have a full slate of opponents if and when they play.
