The Essex County District Attorney’s office is investigating a deadly early morning shooting Monday.
The shooting happened at about 1 a.m.
On Spring Avenue.
Police said when they arrived to the scene they found 22-year-old Tyrone Phet in his car suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Detectives say it does not appear to be a random incident.
No arrests have been made in the case.
