Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut responds to the beating up of a retired naval officer in Mumbai.

Ranaut said the officer was beaten for opposing the government.

Ranaut asked for Centre’s intervention and urged the government to protect constitutional rights.

An ex-naval officer was beaten up by around eight to ten men in Mumbai’s Kandivali area.

The retired officer was beaten up allegedly over a forwarded WhatsApp cartoon on CM Uddhav Thackeray.
