In our top story at 11...governer andy beshear..

Gave a rare address to the state today..

To mark the passing of more than a thousand people..

To the coronavirus in kentucky.

Before the governor's address..., the governor held a wreath laying ceremony..

To remember the victims. bells the state police honor guard placed a memorial wreath in the state capitol rotunda, in frankfot... honoring the more than a thousand kentuckians who have now died from covid-19.

Gov andy beshear 14:05 - 14:53 "we will loose to covid 19 have now lost more kentuckians than korean and vietnam war.

Still only 6 montsh fith of life times as american and kentucky and in this fight that means wearing a mask, keeping gathers and limititing travel asking so little acton that may save somebodies life."

C1 3 governor beshear annoucned 22 new covid-19 releated deaths today.

The total number of people who have now died from the virus in the state, is..

1,035.

The governor also announced..

805 new cases of covid-19.

The total number of positives in the commonwealth is now..

At least... 54,772.

One hundred twenty-two of the new cases were from children ages 18 and younger.

19 were children ages five and under.

The youngest was a 3-month-old from fayette county.

The positivity rate currently is now 4 point 1-4 percent.

The city of lexington now..

Has 6,684 positive cases ofvid-19.

E health department..there were 123, new positives from yesterday.

The health department also reported three new deaths from the virus.

The total number of people who have died from covid-19 in the city..
