An event that inspires kids is coming up... the "lemonade day my way" event encourages children to set up real of virtual lemonade stands.

Chances and services for youth says the event gives kids a taste of what it''s like to start their own business.

From september 10th...through the 13th... leaders in vigo and sullivan counties...are encouraging children to host a lemonade stand.

The stand can either be in-person or virtual...due to the pandemic.

"chances" says the kids just need community support.

"if you see a child having a lemonade day stand, we ask you to support them.

You know, give a donation to them.

Or, on social media, kids will be advertising their plans there.

Probably through parents also.

And if you see that they're selling their recipe, go ahead and give a donation.

Even if you don't need the recipe.

" particpants are eligible to enter contests to win a new bicylce and prizes that'll help them start a future business.
