After graduation, Dasha Yurkevich, Emmet Forde, Julian Jordan, and their English teacher Andy Padlo, set out on a bike trip from San Francisco to New York City.
The group dipped their wheels in the Pacific Ocean and commenced on a 52-day bike adventure, traversing a nation during tumultuous times.
The bikers avoided densely packed cities by taking back roads, sleeping in cornfields, and relying on simple means of survival.
Along the way, the cyclists encountered an anti-mask protest, which opened their eyes to differing perspectives throughout America.
