26, it did not release what apartment complex or business was involved.

As we mentioned earlier - butte county reported 71 new case* of the coronavirus today... the county now has 1815 total cases... 1491 of those have recovered... 21 people have died.

303 are currently in isolation, and 15 are currently hospitalized.### today the butte county public health department held a press conference addressing the pandemic.

Scott rates was there -- he joins us now, scott you've been working to get answers on why they didn't release the locations of two recent outbreaks.

Yeah hayley..... these outbreaks happened at a butte county apartment complex and some sort of business.

The health department not releasing the names of either& today i pressed them on that.

"in very rare cases we do have to release the name of the business.

In a case like an apartment complex we know exactly who is there and we can follow up with them and their contacts to make sure we know who has been exposed.

In this case the public was not exposed several topics were discussed including the four new deaths since last week.

Also, the way the county is tracking the numbers.

Recently the health department said there was outbreak at a local apartment complex and a business, it " there are two different websites that the state is using to track numbers.

There is the california department of public health and covid-19.ca.gov.

That is the site the governors tracks the numbers on, that site typically reporting higher numbers.

Butte county will be using the numbers from the department of public health.

They say that will allow them to move forward will the school waver application process.

Scott -- would this website that they are following -- allow them to get off the watchlist?
