The wildfires were sparked by more than 13- thousand lightning strikes since august 15th... fueled by extreme temperatures and high winds.

Being on this list meant closures to fitness centers, places of worship, and personal care service shops... new jobs numbers show just over a million americans applied for first time unemployment benefits last week... the labor department reported thursday that the number of people seeking jobless aid last week dropped by 98 thousand from the week before.

The number of initial claims has exceeded 1 million most weeks since late march.

Last night the wisconsin attorney general announced new details about sunday's shooting identifying the officer who shot blake..

Blake survived... but could be left parallyzed.

#### a 17 year old is in police custody... facing charges that he shot and killed two protestors... police say the teen shot at protestors in kenosha tuesday& video from the scene shows a gunman walking past several law enforcement vehicles with his hands up..

Police later arrested the teen in a neighboring city 15 miles from kenosha..

And... hurricane laura made landfall overnight, as a category four storm... its now moving inland, it has been downgraded to a category two..
